We have come across only a handful of these Ski Snowshoes over the years.  A unique utilitarian design allowed the user to not only walk on snow but glissade for increased speed and agility in combat.  The Goodearl Brothers Company was founded around 1887 in England when four brothers joined forces to produce furniture.  In 1907 Goodearl Bros Ltd was incorporated.  During WWII the Goodearl factories were requisitioned by the government however one warehouse continued building furniture and in this case snowshoes for the war effort.  This is for 1 snowshoe, not a set.
